Anyone can be happy when times are good in a relationship, when it's all fun, when money isn't an issue and both of you are healthy. It's the hard times that truly define the future of a relationship.
Were you there for each other when it wasn't all fun and games anymore ? Did you reassure each other when the other one was at his/her most vulnerable ? Did you stay loyal even when it wasn't exciting anymore, when you were going through a rough patch as a couple ?
Only when you've gone through some rough times together as a couple can you truly tell if your relationship is strong and real. Everything else until then is just two people living in La La Land!
